- Efficient use of waste heat to reduce primary energy consumption
- Optimization of heating and domestic hot water supply through stratified storage tanks
- Sustainable reduction of operating costs through heat recovery
- Installation of an exhaust gas heat exchanger with a capacity of 1.500 kW
Key Project Measures
- Installation of an exhaust gas heat exchanger (EGHE) to utilize waste heat from the flame treatment ovens (temperature range: 350–450 °C)
- Integration into a heating water system with usable water temperatures of up to 95 °C
- Storage of waste heat in two 100 m³ stratified tanks to decouple heat supply and demand
- Hydraulic separation for heating cleaning water up to 65 °C
- Return temperature increase for the heating system up to 90 °C
- Utilization of additional waste heat from the oil cooling of the ammonia refrigeration system to raise the EGHE supply temperature
- Supply of a 20 bar high-pressure cleaning network and a 6 bar low-pressure cleaning network
- Heat extraction
