pbe energietechnik recently celebrated this year’s summer event at Ferienhof Pankalla. During a round of Farmer’s Golf – a skill-based game originally from the Netherlands – team spirit, fun, and shared experiences took center stage.

Despite the unpredictable weather throughout the day, we were lucky to enjoy the event without rain, although the wind certainly made a few shots more challenging than expected. Divided into randomly selected teams, everyone gave their best, shared plenty of laughs, and even put their knowledge to the test during a quiz along the way.

After an exciting afternoon, we rounded off the event with a relaxed barbecue buffet and enjoyed spending time together outside of the usual work environment. Once again, our summer event proved to be a great opportunity to strengthen team spirit and create memorable moments together.

We are pleased to announce that we successfully competed against several other bidders in a public tender and have been awarded the contract for the temporary heating and cooling supply at Brainergy Park Jülich.

Brainergy Park is a technology and innovation centre focused on forward-looking infrastructure and innovative energy concepts. As part of our contract, we are installing temporary heating and cooling systems, including large-scale storage units and modular container solutions. This will ensure a reliable energy supply during the construction phase.

With our experience in planning and implementing energy supply solutions, our focus is on reliable supply and cost-effective implementation. In the long term, the park will be supplied by a LOW-Ex energy system that, according to the operator, is designed to be more than 90% CO₂-neutral. Heating and cooling will be provided through technologies including heat pumps, energy storage and the use of waste heat.

We are pleased to contribute to the development of this forward-looking innovation hub through our project.

We are pleased to currently benefit from the support of young talents: Our working student Tillman from the System Engineering department and our student intern Nesrin from the Energy Technology department are gaining valuable practical experience with us while bringing fresh ideas to our projects.

Both actively support the team, especially in the areas of concept studies and project assistance, while gaining exciting insights into engineering practice and plant construction. We are convinced that the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of young talent is a win-win for both sides – for the students as well as for our company.

We’re excited to be expanding the energy center of a renowned industrial client at their research site in Hamburg. As part of this project, we’re delivering the key utilities for chilled water, brine, and heating water.

Last year, we developed a comprehensive concept in collaboration with Dr. Born – Dr. Ermel GmbH, which has now led to the project’s commissioning.

pbe energietechnik recently had the pleasure of visiting the Bremer Geschichtenhaus. Through humor and beautifully staged performances, we were given a captivating glimpse into Bremen’s history.

The visit was not only an entertaining journey into the past, but also an opportunity to support an important social initiative. By taking part, we’re helping to strengthen the Bremer Geschichtenhaus in its valuable work and make a positive contribution to the community.

Since 2025, we have been certified in accordance with the Safety Certificate Contractors (SCC) standard. The certification confirms the implementation of defined requirements in the areas of safety, health and environmental protection (SHE).

For us, this means systematically incorporating safety and health aspects as well as relevant environmental requirements into our work processes and projects. This includes preventive measures, regular training and the consistent implementation of applicable safety requirements.

SCC certification supports us in continuously reviewing and improving our SHE processes, providing a reliable basis for the safe execution of our projects.
